the well-lived life is not a spectator sport

Hi. I'm Andrew.

When I was 6, I wanted to be a professional baseball player.

When I was 13, I wanted to be a programmer.

When I was 25, I wanted to work with technology.

Now that I'm in my 30's, I just want to be human and understand all that entails.

Equally at home at a White House dinner or a Burning Man rave, I have spent the last 7 years helping technology companies of all sizes grow.  With a background in computer programming, network administration, and marketing/PR, I understand the tech that makes things tick and I can explain it to a 5 year-old.

I'm inherently interested in technology - not for its own sake - but for what it empowers us to do.  For most of us that means making things easier, better, or faster.  For some of us that also means making the world a safer, healthier, smarter place.
